Our Story
How We Got Started
In 2009, our founder Marcus Webb spent three weeks trying to ship his family's vehicles during a cross-country move. The experience was a mess — brokers who disappeared after taking deposits, carriers who showed up days late, and a final bill that bore no resemblance to the original quote. He knew the industry could do better.
Marcus spent the next two years working directly with carriers, learning the logistics side of the business from the ground up. In 2011, CarMoveUSA opened its doors with a simple promise: transparent pricing, vetted carriers, and a real human being available every step of the way.
Today we've shipped over 50,000 vehicles across all 50 states. Our network includes more than 2,000 licensed and insured carriers, and our average customer rating sits at 4.9 stars. The industry hasn't changed much — but we're proof that it can.
